Mom Bloggers Club Simplify My Life contest/sweepstakes is giving you the chance to win a HP Mini 110-1100 by Studio Tord Boontje. There will be a total of 6 prizes, 3 through the member’s only contest and 3 through the sweepstakes. At the bottom of this post you’ll find out how to enter the sweepstakes portion.
I normally don’t enter contests, especially written ones; I don’t have that special gift of gab, I’m a simple, straight forward type, more on the logical rather than creative side. But, I’ll take a chance this time; I really would love to win this beautiful HP Mini 110-1100 by Studio Tord Boontje.
Having a mini notebook would definitely simplify my life, the size and weight of the 110-1100 would make it perfect for on-the-go computing. I would also be able to easily take it around the house and out to the back yard. I can’t say the design would simplify my life, but it sure would be a joy to look at, I love it.
An added plus is that the HP Mini 110-1100 by Studio Tord Boontje offered through the contest comes with Windows 7 Home Premium. Although I haven’t had the opportunity to try Windows 7, from the reviews I’ve read, it’s perfect for on-the-go tasks, and I would love the chance to see for myself what else it can do.

A mini would definitely simplify my life because I wouldn’t have to lug around that big heavy laptop anymore!! And it would fit inside my handbag instead of being so conspicuous in a carry around laptop bag. And besides, you don’t always want to carry your laptop with you but leaving it in the car is a direct invitation to thieves to break in and steal it. Being able to carry it in my purse is a major advantage! Great giveaway!

ReplyDeleteThis HP 100 Mini netbook would be a blessing to our family, as we only have one old desktop to share amongst our family of 7. We rely heavily on spreadsheets, lists,email and schedules, etc. to streamline our day to day activities, and the portability of the HP 100 mini would make it so effortless and stylish. Plus, mobile computing would be perfect to pass the time--when time stands still--like when waiting in a doctor's office!

A HP Mini 110 would simplify my life by allowing me to keep up with all of my computer activities (blogging, emailing, entering contests, social networking, surfing the Internet, etc.) when I'm not able to be on my laptop (which just so happens to be a HP) for whatever reason. With 4 kids, the reason I'm not able to be on my laptop could be anything! :O
ReplyDeleteI have never owned anything other than a desktop. We are a busy family and there are times when I need a laptop to take with me and since I don't have one I can't. So I'm either stuck at home or I miss a deadline. I would love to win this mini!

A mini would allow me to be in the living room with the kids and not in the office where our desktop is right now. I'm a stay at home mom and would like to have some me time on facebook, twitter, etc but without leaving our three daughter to their own devices. :)

I do a lot of traveling and use a friend's extra laptop while I'm on the road. It would be great if I didn't have to use his and didn't have to carry such a big thing through airport security!

ReplyDeleteSomething this small would be really convenient for me since I need a computer for work and it is light enough to take on the bus which I use to commute every day. ReplyDeleteThis mini would not only simplify my life, it would literally save the day! My laptop died (RIP) putting me back on my desktop which is incredibly limiting since I am a blogger. I need the portability, and this netbook would certainly help me to stay connected on the go as it's so lightweight. The fact I can also toss it in my regular handbag on the way out the door and not need to carry a messenger bag is a plus. How on earth can I show up at events in NYC with a big old messenger bag across my shoulders??
ReplyDeleteI know a HP Mini would make all the difference with me also, while I am at home or on the go. I can quickly get to my photos and files, take notes, send a letter off to friends, teachers and family, able to work on my scrapbooks while sitting and waiting for the kids at band or dance practice,very lightweight to take with me on the go. I can easily use my calendar and look at our busy schedules. At night I can work on my blog, that really needs to be updated without waking anyone up, I can enjoy a little quiet Mommy Time.

I would love to win this laptop because it would help make me be able to communicate when I am mobile. I don't have a iPhone, nor a iPod Touch, and I really don't have a way to communicate with friends and family when I am on the road. Winning this laptop would give me that ability. ReplyDeleteI would love to win that HP mini 110, we have one desk top, I could only imagine having a mini that I could sneak off to a room or on the porch with, while telling my daughter sure go ahead you can get on the computer mommy doesn't need it today, oh wow, that would be great, I have heard so much about windows 7 would love to try that, I am starting college classes online and what a blessing it would be, but I am sure who ever wins it, it shall be a blessing to them also!! With every other aspect of my life being so chaotic, it would be nice to win a HP Mini with Windows 7 for added simplicity. Winning this sweepstakes would inable me to chat online with my "virtual" friends, find great recipes, enter giveaways, and organize my family's schedule. The HP mini allows the flexibility I need to be a mother, partner, and employer. My worlds could collide gently instead of exploding into pieces. I am in the process of trying to start my own business and I currently work from home...but I rarely stay in one place with my laptop. As I suffer from degenerative disc disease in my cervical spine - coupled with a heavy laptop - changing my "workspace" throughout the day is NOT an easy task.
