Awesome first day of spring. It is again an absolutely beautiful day, 72 degrees with beautiful blue skies. Washed my car and watered some plants earlier. Had to do it before noon, in our area we have water rationing year round. Before noon or after 7p.m., 3 days a week, the days depending on whether your address is even or odd, and you can be cited for water running down the gutters.
Last week I planted tomatoes, peppers and strawberries, also a lilac bush at the corner of the front planter. This week the seed for bush cucumbers went in. Looking forward to a nice little garden. Mowed the back yard today, I love the smell of a fresh mowed lawn. Will actually need to water it tonight.
Cleaned our fountain out front. Here's a video of it, it's so cool.
Lucky you! I still have to wait a few more weeks before I can start planting due to crazy northern weather, but I did notice 2 little flowers starting to pop out of the ground the other day!
