Junie's laser surgery yesterday for cataracts on one of her eyes went well. She has another follow up in two weeks, and if it's doing as well as expected, they'll schedule surgery for the other eye, early next month. She can't believe how well she can see already.
She's worn glasses for over 50 years, and since her stroke a few years ago, her eyes have deteriorated pretty fast. She's pretty excited now. When all is said and done, she won't need glasses anymore, except for reading.
