Help Fight Hunger - Vote Today

I'm voting daily for the cities in California's Central Valley in a Help Fight Hunger campaign sponsored by Walmart Foundation  for cities nationwide with high unemployment rates.  The organizations in the cities (and surrounding areas) have a chance to be given $50,000-$1,000,000. The city with the most votes gets the $1,000,000, the top twenty runners up get $50,000.  Please help Modesto and the other cities in California's Central Valley by voting here .  It's quick and easy and a great way to help.  Every vote helps! The competition ends 4/30/12.

Here's how the valley cities stand so far
Fresno Metro area #2
Bakersfield-Delano #8
Madera-Chowchilla  #11
Visalia-Porterville #14
Modesto   :)   #17
Hanford-Corcoran  #18
Stockton  #20

*UPDATE 5/6/12*

Well the Youngstown-Warren Ohio area won the $1,000,000 hands down with 98,690 votes
The California cities that won $50,000:
Fresno Metro area #3 - 27,929 votes
Madera-Chowchilla  #12
Bakersfield-Delano #13
Visalia-Porterville #14
Hanford-Corcoran  #17
Modesto  #19
The Inland Empire in Southern CA #21 - 3,858 votes
Stockton dropped out of the top 21

I was really surprised and a bit disappointed at the lack of votes in general for California cities. All it did was take a few seconds of time to vote. Sad, sad totals
Greater Sacramento Area, 502 votes
Greater Los Angeles Area, 767 votes
The Bay Area, 358 votes
